Time... - for A.B.studio

Hej!
Dzisiaj mam dla Was pracę z najnowszej kolekcji AB studio - "Behind closed doors".

Hello!
Today I have for you an artwork from the latest AB studio collection - "Behind closed doors". I got papers yesterday and I could not resist to make something with them very quickly. This collection has a great, vintage character, lots of interesting, mysterious elements, beautiful tags and clocks to cut.

I made the composition on a painting board, enriching the background with beautiful chipboards, also from AB studio. Such large elements are one of my favorites. They are very decorative in themselves, they perfectly enrich the background of the project, you don't need to make a lot to match them to each project. I used Liquid Acrylics paints here, which have very intense colors and are permanent. However, cardboard is such a grateful product that you can paint it with everything you choose.

Be Courageous! - mixedmedia canvas for EgoCraft

Hello!
This is my next artwork for EgoCraft. Today I have a project in which I wanted to show you how to use chipboards leftovers. As I mentioned once - don't throw them away! In mixedmedia projects such shapes are perfect. Not only as hidden layers that give us a 3D effect, but also as visible elements of our composition.

The whole composition is arranged on a round painting board, on which I glue the next layers of chipboard leftovers (mainly after Christmas baubles). When I achieved the intended effect, I covered everything with the black gesso. I added a few metal elements, paper flowers and lots of mists and paints :) I used Art Alchemy Paints from Finnabair and Lindy's sprays.

A great method of decorating the chipboards is also hot embossing. Thanks to it, they acquire a unique character. That's how I decorated the frame from the "Sea Stories" collection and my favorite background from the "At the Royal Court" collection. It is also very interesting to dissolve the embossing powder in a few randomly selected places, here I used white powder to lighten the composition a bit.

Dream Big - mixed media canvas

Hello,
the Christmas in my studio are over and today I have for you something in different style. I made a small project on a painting board, in which the main role is the background. There are a lot of things there - mists, inks, a little stamping, splashes, turquoise transfer foil.

You can find here paper tags and chipboards. I used a great chipboard background and the serrated circles, stick out here and there, are the remains of the chipboard bauble. I don't know about you, but I usually don't throw away these cardboard leftovers, because they can be great elements of the background or composition.

Christmas tags with gold - EgoCraft DT

Hello,
my Christmas madness started! On my desk are Christmas papers and accessories, and plenty of glitter. Today I have for you two winter mixed-media tags.

To made the background I use only mist and distress ink. I also decorated them with gold foil for transfer, sticking it to the most ordinary glue, without any specialized equipment. I love this effect when the foil sticks so irregularly, creating only light "traces".

The chipboards - bauble and the reindeer - I also decorated with foil, inked, and added glitter.

Colorful memories - mixedmedia canvas

Hello,
I'm very happy to be invited to EgoCraft design team! This is my first inspiration.

I made for you mixed-media project, full of embellishments and colors. As a base I used a circular painting board (a thin mdf board covered with a primed canvas). I recommend working on this type of base for those, who are afraid that paper will not hold too much paints and waterbased media.

Directly on the base I glued chpboard from one of my favorite collections - a Sea Stories large frame. Then, with flowers and metal pieces, I created a whole "scaffolding" for the center of my composition - the old photo of my grandmother, locked in a metal frame. After covering all with the white gesso and drying, I added a ton of colors using mist and pigments. Because the big chipboard frame was a bit lost under other things, on top of it I added a frame from the same collection, but in a smaller size.

Treasure - layout for 7 Dots Studio DT

Hello,
it's another winter layout on my blog :) This time I made this on white background. I like to make my projects on white cardstock, it gives me a lot of possibilities.

I used Cotton Candy Dreams collection – a 6×6 pad and some tags. I realy like to play with the small pads – you can easily fit small papers with large ones and complete the project.
