Rusty Numbers - canvas with video tutorial

Witajcie!

Hello!
Today I have for you a video tutorial how to make a small, slightly rusty project. I used the Rust Effect Paste Prima set. I wanted to show here that you don't have to do a big, rusty composition, you can add only a few elements on which you can practice and try to achieve the effect you like. I have been "taming" these pastes for a long time and I hope that my video let you get to know them better.

Aby dodać trochę koloru temu projektowi, użyłam tuszy Distress Oxide i tuszy alkoholowych. Ostatnio to moje ulubione produkty do kolorowania. Mocne, trwałe kolory tuszy alkoholowych i lekko akwarelowy efekt Oxide to świetne połączenie. Lekko nieprzewidywalne, ale dla mnie to atut :)

To add a little color to this project, I used Distress Oxide inks and alcohol inks. Recently, it's my favorite coloring products. Strong, durable colors of alcohol inks and a slightly watercolor-like Oxide effect is a great combination. Slightly unpredictable, but for me, it's an asset :)

As in every my project - here are a lot of layers. I used elements from the Tim Holtz's Thrift Shop Ephemera set, which fits anywhere and anytime. Between layers, I added a little more metal castings. Each layer is glued together with a piece of cardboard, thanks to this 3D effect is even clearer.

Zapraszam do obejrzenia video, mam nadzieję, że zainspiruje Was do własnych eksperymentów.

I invite you to watch the video, I hope that it will inspire you to your own experiments.

Lucky - rusty tag

Hello,
today I have a small tag again. Such small forms have given me the most pleasure lately. I love working on every little detail.

In this project, I made the background with light, delicate colors from Distress Oxide inks. I like the way they mix with each other, creating soft color transitions.

To add a stronger and contrast accent, I added elements covered with a Rust Effect Paste. The delicate addition of metallique wax added a bit of glow to this tag.

Wire project - for Retro Kraft Shop DT

Cześć!
Dzisiaj mam dla Was delikatny i raczej "ubogi" w media projekt. Ja chciałam osiągnąć delikatny, akwarelowy efekt i jasne kolory, popsikałam więc potuszowane tło wodą. Aby coś więcej działo się w tle pracy, odbiłam kilka stempli czarnym tuszem Archival.

Hey!
For today I made for you a delicate and rather "poor" of media project. I wanted to show one of the ways to use the Distress Oxide inks (I used colors - Walnut Stain, Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber). This is a really great product for creating colorful backgrounds. Just use the applicator and apply on the selected surface, preferably in several colors, because they combine perfectly, creating soft transitions. I wanted to achieve a delicate, watercolor effect and bright colors, so I sprayed the inks with water.

Całą kompozycję tworzy niewiele dodatków, warstwy ułożyłam głównie z kart z zestawu Tima Holtza, a centralnym elementem jest malutki drewniany tamborek, opleciony metalowym drutem. Z drutu uplotłam też małe motylki, które dodatkowo ozdobiły odbitki stempli.
Ostatnim "dodatkiem" są czarne chlapnięcia tuszem akrylowym, dzięki którym mój projekt nabrał tego ostatecznego charakteru.

The whole composition made just a few add-ons, I composed layers mainly with Tim Holtz cards, and the central element is a tiny wooden hoop, braided with metal wire. I also braided the small butterflies from the wire.  The last "addition" are black acrylic ink splashes, thanks to which my project took on this final character.

Aby wyciąć napis FOUND użyłam wykrojników literek Sizzix z zestawu Gift Card Bag.

I used letters dies to make this FOUND word. Letters are from Gift Card Bag set.

The power of nature - for Finnabair CT

Hello,

for today I made a project full of nature. In addition to beautiful paper butterflies, I used a lot of reindeer moss and curly moss. Despite the use of shiny paints, the whole project is rather delicate and subdued.

The main element of my artwork is a resin frame. I painted it with Black Gesso, and then gently with Art Alchemy Paints. Do it with almost dry brush, taking only a little amount of paint, only to highlight the details.

My project is very dimensional - there are many layers and I put moss and twigs between them. At the end, I added here and there a bit of White Gesso and Art Alchemy Sparks Paint to create harmony between all the elements. Maybe my project will inspire you to reach for natural elements, moss, twigs, dried flowers. Thanks to them, your projects become unique.

I invite you to watch my video, where you can see step by step how I did this project.
