Transparent tag - for Retro Kraft Shop

Witajcie,

Hi,
today I have for you a mixed media tag on a transparent base. Just a piece of stiff foil or plastic and you can work. Just remember not to go crazy with the heat tool, because such a base quickly loses its shape under the influence of heat.

Do ozdobienia bazy użyłam świetnych, nowych past Finnabair, wybrałam kolor Amethyst Magic.

To decorate the base I used great, new Finnabair pastes, I chose the Amethyst Magic. They work great with stencils, give a sharp, clear pattern, dry quickly, and shine beautifully. It is also interesting that pastes and waxes with the same names have the same color, perfectly match each other.

To add more colors, I used alcohol inks that work great with both - plastic and metal elements. At the end I used a white gesso to soften some of these strong colors. A few white splashes complemented the effect.

Olde Curiosity Shoppe Sign - for Graphic 45

Hello!
Today I have for you a project for Gaphic 45 monthly challenge. This time we make something from #G45DarkSide

I know that many of you are thinking about Halloween this month. In Poland, where I come from, this is not a popular holiday. However, I really wanted to do something in this style. Something dark, a little strange, which may be a decoration for Halloween, but it will also work as a year-round project.

I reached for the Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection, which is one of my favorites and one of the first I have worked with. In this collection you will find a lot of details to cut, beautiful butterflies, vintage letters, intriguing bottles - I used all of this to create this shop sign. I wanted to make a project that would look old, rusted, hidden among the moss, a sign leading to a mysterious store with lots of strange things.

In this project, I wanted to show how easily you can combine paper with paints and the media. How well they interact with each other, creating together a coherent composition. The most important thing is to add a few used paints or pastes to the paper elements so that they blend seamlessly into the background.

I hope that my project will inspire you to take part in our challenge. Or maybe you will try to play with the media? I am very curious!

Please enjoy my video tutorial!

Junk Journals - for Finnabair Creative Team - with video tutorial

Hello friends!

Today I have for you two small notebooks, I made them some time ago for Finnabair Creative Team, but forgot to show you here :)

I don't even know where they came from to my drawer, but I did not quite like them and decided to change them. I was mainly interested in giving them some structure, spaciousness, but in order to still be comfortable to use them.

I started by gluing wood pieces to the covers. Later, I covered the entire surface with white gesso, thanks to which the paper became more resistant to water. Then I used a graphite paste to give the cover a grain. I liked the paste from the new Texture Fantasy series very much. They have beautiful colors and delicate structures, they suited me very well here.

I didn't want the covers to be too spacious, so I added only resin frames and cardboard. It was enough to add only matching subtitles and my project was ready.

I invite you to watch my video tutorial and encourage you to get inspired by my project.
