Always Remember - 7 Dots Studio Design Team

Hello friends,
it's time for my new project for 7 Dots Studio

I wanted to make something vintage and rich in diverse media. I used paints, waxes, and basics media like gesso and modeling paste, to achieve the effect you see.

7 Dots Studio has many interesting stencils, this time I reached for Letters Stencil from Writer’s Block collection. This perfectly complements my background.

I also used other elements from this collection – word stickers, die-cut elements and papers. Its colors are rather neutral, thanks to the adding paints can be matched with many projects.

Time Flies - mixed media frame for Finnabair Creative Team

Hello friends,
this is my new project for Finnabair Creative Team.

I realy love to find new ways to use ordinary things. This time a folding wooden ruler caught my eye. I'm sure you can easily find something like that in a local store or maybe in your toolbox.

I used this wooden measuring tape to shape a frame and have a great base for my whole project. You can watch the entire creative process in my video below.

I painted the mould elements with Art Alchemy Sparks and rubbed with Art Alchemy Waxes. This combination gives an extraordinary effect and ordinary paper clay magically turns into a beautiful relief.

I wanted this project to be rich, full of details and layers. I wanted my piece to be complex and make the viewers discover something new at every glance.

Before I started to work, I prepared a lot of items I liked and set myself a task of putting them all in that frame. And I made it. :)

Why I chose "Time Flies" for the title of my project?
Because I see here a little girl, but her look is very serious. And this reminds me of how fast this time flies... How fast we grow up and leave childhood and childhood dreams behind.

Maybe my canvas will inspire you to create along and express your long forgotten dreams with paints and paper. Or perhaps you may even return to your childhood dreams and try to fulfill them...

I wish you that with all my heArt. :)

Round Love - on-line class with Finnabair

Today I have for you a very special project.

For many years I dreamed of taking part in Finnabair classes. So far I haven't had the opportunity, but my dreams are still the same.

And now, thanks to Finnabair and Everything Art, we all have the chance to try on-line classes! This is amazing occasion to meet Anna "eye to eye", in our home, our craftroom, and experience very exciting journey.

I highly recommend IMAGINE class to everyone.
Both beginners and experienced will find something for them. You'll create a complete project, learn many tips and tricks and spend a wonderful, creative time.

And this is my interpretation of Finnabair's project.
I used small round canvas and almost everything I had on my desk… ;)

Make a wish - mixed media canvas for 7 Dots Studio DT

Hello friends,
I wasn't here for a while, but I'm coming back with new energies and hope that spring will help me with all my plans.

Here you have one of my newest project - mixed media canvas for 7 Dots Studio. I used one of oulatest collection – Cotton Candy Dreams.

In this project I wanted to use many paints and other mediums, so I started with canvas, instead of paper. I built layers of the composition with paper straws, gauze and cardboard. And I made a lot of them :)

Add-ons from all collections are just perfect for making some final touches on projects. I used tags and word stickers to make my canvas complete.

Everyone has a story - mixed media canvas for Finnabair CT

Hello, this is my new project for Finnabair Creative Team.

This time I set off feeling like making something with a fresh, modern feel, using strong, bright colors. And as you will see in the video below, it started quite well. But at some point my work somehow turned into a path called "vintage". ;) I think it's all because of these amazing Vintage Collectibles Ephemera pictures, I love to work with them! They look so authentic, I always have the feeling that I create projects using real family photos.

In this project, I used some recycled stuff. First of all, I took leftovers from chipboards and made a background. And then it was enough to add colors with Mica Powders and Art Alchemy paints, and I was able to create a glamorous, rich background.

I also found in my junk box some transparent plastic circles. I stamped them with some Vintage Vanity 'Book' text stamp. You have to use permanent ink for that, e.g. StazOn ink. It works great on smooth surfaces. I encourage you to come up with and make your own embellishments - they will be unique and add a very personal touch to your artworks.

You know how much I love layers. So also in this project I couldn't resist and I created a dimensional, 'piled up' composition. I used papers and add-ons from 7 Dots Studio. All separated with pieces of cardboard. I don't like to use foam tape - as I use the heat tool all the time, when in contact with high temperature, the foam tape tends to fall off.

I'd like to encourage you to reach for the photos that truly speak to you. Each of them carries an inspiring story which makes it so easy to make a special art piece and adds a unique charm to your creations.

Please enjoy my video and if you have any questions, don't hesistate to ask.
