Inventor tags - for Retro Kraft Shop

Witajcie!

Dzisiaj mam dwa tagi, które powstały bardzo spontanicznie na pewnym kreatywnym spotkaniu. Literki, które tutaj widzicie, wycięłam z grubej tektury wykrojnikiem Sizzix - Word Play Alphabet. Wykorzystałam również "resztki", powstało z nich świetne tło. Po naklejeniu tekturek na tagi, pokryłam całość białym gesso i dopiero wtedy nałożyłam kolory. Użyłam do tego głównie tuszy Distress Oxide i czarnego tuszu Archival. Niebieski tag psiknęłam również mgiełką Lindy's, a do obu dodałam trochę blasku za pomocą wosku metalicznego Art Alchemy.

Today I have two tags that were created very spontaneously at a creative meeting. The letters you see here, I cut from a thick cardboard with the Sizzix dies - Word Play Alphabet. I also used "leftovers", they created a great background. After sticking the cardboard on the tags, I covered the whole with white gesso and then put on the colors. I used mainly the Distress Oxide inks and the black Archival ink. I also added Lindy's spray to the blue one and a bit of light to both using Art Alchemy metallique wax.

Tagi są dość skromne i nie mają wielu ozdób. Chciałam, aby głównymi bohaterami były niesamowite stemple Inventor. Pokolorowałam je tuszami oraz markerami Distress, które dają świetny, akwarelowy efekt. Koniecznie odbijcie stemple za pomocą permanentnego tuszu (np. Archival), aby się nie rozmazały podczas kolorowania.

The tags are quite poor and don't have many embellishments. I wanted the main thing to be the amazing Inventor stamps. I colored them with distress inks and markers, that gives a great, watercolor effect. Be sure to make the stamps with a permanent ink (eg Archival) so that they do not smudge during coloring.

I can't stop playing with Sizzix 3D texture fades folders. Today I want to show you a very spontaneous work, the beginning of which was just testing the possibility of one of the folders - Mechanics. I didn't want to "waste" work and used it as a background in this project. I made embossing on white watercolor paper, which I painted with black archival ink and Finnabair wax - "Old Silver". I played for a long time to achieve this effect, I tried, I tested and I am very happy with it.

I haven't used many embellishments here. The main elements are MitForm gears and Inventor stamp (Stampers Anonymous). I think that was enough.

dzisiaj mam projekt, który powstał spontanicznie, z potrzeby przetestowania nowych, rewelacyjnych stempli Tima Holtza - Inventor 1 i Inventor 2.

today I have a spontaneous project, created to test the new, sensational Tim Holtz stamps - Inventor 1 and Inventor 2.

Tag jest bardzo prosty, chciałam dobrze wyeksponować stemple, nie zakrywać ich zbyt dużą ilością dodatków. Najpierw zembossowałam odbitkę białym pudrem, dopiero na tak przygotowaną bazę nałożyłam folię z kolejnym stemplem - tym razem odbitym czarnym tuszem StazOn. 

The tag is very simple, I wanted to show the stamps, don't cover them with too many embellishments. First, I embossed print with white powder, and on that base, I applied a foil with the next stamp - this time made with black StazOn ink.

Dodałam jeszcze tylko kilka trybików MitForm, śrubek, kawałek drutu i gotowe.

I added only a few MitForm cogs, screws, a piece of wire and it's ready.
