Hopes and Desires - Finnabair Art Recipe - April 2019

Hello,
today I have a project for Finnabair Team new challenge!
Please join us and be the next guest designer.

Colours of March Art Recipe:
cobalt, emerald, silver

Products:
Art Basics - White Gesso
Art Basics - Soft Gloss Gel
Art Alchemy - Waxes
Art Ingredients - Glitter
Art Alchemy - Liquid Acrylics

For this month Art Recip,e I've made this bright tag. It does not have many embellishments. The most important thing for me here is the background on which I glued several resin stars from the moulds. I painted the whole with white gesso and then I added color with liquid acrylic paints. During painting, I used a lot of water. I sprayed the paints to achieve the watercolor effect.

When the paint dried, I used gesso again to accentuate all the edges and details. Finally, it's time for glitter. I glued it with a soft gel and left it to dry thoroughly. I wanted to hide the glitter a little bit using white gesso, so that its glow gently pierced through the white layer. Thanks to this, it better suits the entire project.

I hope you feel inspired and try to make something for our challenge!

October lantern - Prima Art Recipe

Hello,
today I have for you my inspiration for Prima October's Art Recipe.

This month's Art Recipe might just as well be the "Golden Brown" song by The Strangles! Leaves + golden tones of Sparks paints + Art Extravagance Rust Effect Pastes + Micro Beads + Art Alchemy Waxes.

I really love to make home decor elements that can make my house look special in autumn and winter seasons. This time I made a small lantern using an ordinary glass jar. It was quite simple really: I wrapped a little bit of string around the top edge and covered it with Finnabair's Rust Paste. The result was a great rugged structure that helped me create the whole "worn" look. I applied Red Amber Antique Brilliance Wax - simply using my fingers to highlight all the details and give a little bit of glow.

To complete my project, I added Mechanicals embellishments, also treated with Rust Paste and Wax. I used all three pastes from the set. I think mixing them all (in different proportions, you decide which look you prefer) will give you the best results. To soften the colors, gently applied White Gesso to the jar. The icing on the cake are Micro Beads which I glued on around the edge of my jar with 3D Matte Gel.

My October lantern looks best after dark, but even without the lights inside, it is also a beautiful decoration of my house.

King of the world - August Prima Art Recipe

Hello friends,
today I have for you my project for August Art Recipe on Prima blog.

I really like creating projects on canvases. When I use them, I'm not worried about the amount of paints and media as this surface is much more durable than paper. This time I used a round base and I built a multi-layered, rich composition.

There are many fantastic ways to use Art Alchemy paints. I use them as watercolors - I spray the water immediately after application, but remember you have to be fast. After drying, the paint is permanent. When you use the paints this way, you get a more delicate pastel look, when used straight from the tube (or jar), you will get brighter, more saturated tones. These paints are also perfect for splashing and we get beautiful glossy dots. They also work brilliantly with Art Alchemy Waxes and you can see this effect on the seahorse which I painted with paints and highlighted the details with one of the Waxes.

Capture the moments - canvas for Prima Art Recipe

Hello,
this project was made for new Prima Art Recipe. Please feel free to visit Prima blog to see inspirations from Finnabair Team.

This color combo was quite a challenge for me, not exactly my first choice of a color palette. But, I'm so glad I took this challenge - I love it and I think it will be one of my favorite color choices from now on. I created a mixed-media canvas with a little bit of masculine (or maybe boyish? :) ) look. The whole composition is rich in embellishments and add-ons, very dimensional, and full of layers.

The background is also quite varied - I used pieces from moulds, metal embellishments, and clear Art Pebbles. The colors come from Mica Powders and Art Alchemy paints. I lightened them gently with White Heavy Gesso.

I used Art Alchemy Waxes to turn chipboard elements into metal-looking parts. The waxes are just perfect for this! For me, the best way to apply the Waxes is simply with my fingers. :) This way you can easily control the amount, and the way you want to apply them. I really love the smooth, shiny effect. And let's not forget the delicious scent accompanying you as you create. ;)

The Windy Tag - Finnabair Art Recipe

Hello,
it's time for new Finnabair Art Recipe!

All projects you can find on Prima blog.
I made a "windy" tag. I really like this kind of projects - so small but so complete.

I used Clear Gesso for my background in order to have better crackles from Clear Crackle Texture Paste. When everything was dry, I added more texture with Rust Paste and colors with Mica Powders and Art Alchemy paints. I also used paint to highlight details and crackles on the background. To finish my project I just had to use my favorite Mini Art Stones and glitters - it was a perfect match

Our everyday life - Finnabair CT Art Recipe

It's time for a new Finnabair Creative Team Art Recipe on Prima Marketing blog

Please visit blog to watch beautiful creations from the other girls. And there is mine :)

The painted heart is the focus point of my background. For this heart I used the new & amazing Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints - Royal Red and Steampunk Copper. Next, I created some texture using Light Paste with a stencil. To add the colors, I made sprays mixing Mica Powders with water.

I mixed Art Stones with 3D Matte Gel and glued them in several places on my project. After drying I covered it all with White Gesso and added colors with Mica Powder mists. At the end I thinned Black Gesso with a little bit of water and made some splashes.

Thank You!
